Abstract:
In the last few years we’ve been seeing more and more companies adopting marketplace business model. E-commerce web stores, taxi aggregators, media streaming services, even social networks - examples of platforms connecting suppliers to consumers can be found everywhere. Building payment integrations for such platforms has always been a challenge, as the platform has to provide the best possible experience to both sides while also staying profitable. Securely collecting payment details from customers, supporting a variety of payment methods, fighting fraud, accurately calculating and reporting taxes, sharing revenue with merchants - these are just some of the issues a marketplace has to deal with.
In this workshop Mikhail is going to show how Stripe makes it easy for businesses to implement multiparty payments with Connect and Billing products. Together we’ll build a simple marketplace using Stripe low- and no-code solutions for onboarding merchants, collecting payment information from customers, setting up recurring payments, and finally facilitating funds transfers from customers to merchants.”
