Embedded Software Test Engineer – Specialist
to join our team in Belgrade

We are looking for a specialist who can meet the challenges of the international market with openness, flexibility and enthusiasm. Use this chance and join our success!

Tasks:

• Supporting the definition and optimization of internal standards and processes within their own field of expertise.
• Participation in the analysis of specifications, the derivation of requirements, and review of requirements specifications and architectures with a focus on testability.
• Performing project-specific test planning and test control in the software test levels for complex software, with participation in the creation of the cross-system test plans/test concepts (master test plan)
• Design and automation of software tests for embedded software by using test methods according to ISTQB on all software test levels defined in the V-Model (e.g. HW-SW-Integration, Software-Integration, Software Unit Test)
• Creating and editing work instructions and ensuring their implementation with special regard to application of quality and safety regulations, standards, and establishment of methods according to the state of the art (e.g. DIN EN ISO 9001 ff, ISO 26262, ISTQB, HIS, MISRA, etc.)
• Identifying general training needs within the company’s own specialist area; planning and conducting internal and external training courses on complex topics.
• Supporting the management of SW subprojects in concept and series projects in terms of scheduling and cost planning and monitoring, if necessary with responsibility for budgets and resources.

Profile:

• University degree (i.e. Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Science).
• 5+ years of professional experience in the field of embedded software development preferred in the automotive field and with a focus on software testing
• Experience in the management of sub-projects in SW development/test
• Very good knowledge of SW test topics (planning, implementation, reporting); ideally ISTQB Advanced Level certified
• Mastery of the programming language „C”, preferably MISRA.
• Good knowledge of SW design and AUTOSAR architecture, automotive software testing and development tools, version control tools, application life cycle management tools, static code analysis tools.
• Extensive knowledge of Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and automotive development processes (e.g. A-SPICE).
• You complete your work with a high focus on quality and documenting your work. You can convey knowledge and act as a trainer.
• Fluent in English, German would be an advantage.
