SEETB

The South East European Testing Board (SEETB) is part of The International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB). They are both internationally recognized, independent and non-profit organizations. SEETB is responsible for the ISTQB Certified Tester certification program in South East Europe (Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Moldova). The organisation is an accredited exam provider of ISTQB Foundation Level, ISTQB Agile Tester Extension, ISTQB Advanced Level (Test Manager; Test Analyst; Technical Test Analyst), Certified Mobile Application Professional (CMAP) – Foundation Level, Certified Professional Requirements Engineering (CPRE) – Foundation Level. SEETB takes care of the accreditation of ISTQB training providers in the region.

SEETB also organises SEETEST (South East European Software Testing Conference) annually. The conference is organised on a rotating principle in the countries covered by SEETB and aims to increase the importance of the software testing field in the region. It consists of two days of talks and tutorials and usually takes place in the end of September – this year SEETEST will be in Bucharest on September 26-27.

The Board also issues the software testing magazine Quality Matters. It is a free issue, and gives space for creativity to software testing professionals from around the world to share their experience and stories from the field. The magazine is available online and paper-based for selected issues.
