Front-End Software Developer (React) – Yamo
to join our team in Belgrade

Yamo is Swiss start-up, Europe’s first digital native vertical brand for child food. All products are 100% organic, natural and free from additives. Every recipe was developed together with dozens of helpful moms, dads, their little ones, nutritionists and pediatricians.

As part of the Product Development team, the React Front-End Developer will work to build and extend the functionality of Yamo’s core online platform and other related products. This work includes development of new features, bugfixes, speed and UX improvements. This is a front-end development position primarily working on a platform being developed with React and Redux.

These will be your tasks:

• Design, develop, and unit test new applications and features based on functional requirements developed in collaboration with Marketing, UI/UX designers, product owners, and other teams
• Work with team members to investigate and evaluate innovative design approaches for new development
• Write fast and snappy, small sized, and very much user experience-oriented UIs
• Produce SEO-friendly pages
• Work closely with the Back End team to develop elaborate and secure functionality
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to validate test approaches and design test plans for new development efforts
• Package and support the deployment of code releases
• Write well organized, clean, and maintainable code
• Provide scope and time estimates on tasks for capacity planning
