Frontend Tech Lead
to join our team in Belgrade
You will:
- Work on a state-of-the-art application for one of our clients, a fast growing and ambitious Swiss company – FinanceScout24
- Use the latest versions of modern JS frameworks like React.js, Next.js, Webpack and other modern technologies
- Drive architectural and design decisions together with FinanceScout24 Head of development
- Together with the team, drive the application and have ownership of the whole process including running the application in production
- Mentor and coach other developers in the team and guide them to make better decisions
- Step up in team’s ceremonies and facilitate communication and information exchange between the team
- Collaborate with our UX team, implementing the designs they provide through Figma
- Be included in continuous independent further education through workshops, conferences, blogs, etc.
- Be part of a cross-functional team that follows agile development using SCRUM and XP practices (TDD, Pair programing, Refactoring)
You have:
- 4+ years of experience with React, Redux or comparable, VueJS, Angular etc
- 8+ years of overall software engineering experience, developing front end applications using Javascript
- Experience creating the architecture of mid/large size React applications
- Desire to take ownership and ability to thrive on that (taking on responsibility is expected)
- Strong software development practices (test automation, architecture, CI/CD)
- Experience in working in agile and interdisciplinary teams
- Constantly challenging the status quo to improve how the team works together
- Great communicate, in both written and verbal form
- Previous experience in leading a small team of 2-3 developers will be considered as a plus
- Good command of spoken and written English
