Hardware Verification Engineer for Servo Drives
to join our team in Belgrade

Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Creating test plans, performing and evaluating product and system verification tests in the field of servo drives
  • Planning and realization of test setups, programming test applications
  • Commissioning and verification of servo drive components, in particular PCBA’s
    (powerboards and controlboards)
  • Testing the function of analog and digital circuits by measuring the corresponding signals using oscilloscope
  • Verification of power electronics components by measuring the switching behavior of IGBT’s and MOS-FETs as well as testing the power stages in different load cases (continuous and peak current)
  • Performing temperature tests on servo drives with consideration of mechanical components (heat sink, housing parts)
  • Performing EMC tests in accordance with IEC 61800-3 (immunity and emission)
  • Performing manual testing and standardizing test procedures by implementing automated test routines
  • Creating verification reports to document the test results

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science or Higher Degree (Technical University) in Computer Science, Automation or related discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of verification
  • Good system overview and knowledge of servo drive technology, power electronics, digital and analog circuits, control engineering and measurement technology
  • Good knowledge in the field of test planning
  • Experience in PLC programming
  • Experience in planning and realization of experimental setups
  • Good knowledge in the maintenance and verification of electronic circuits
  • Ability to clearly document and report on results
  • Ability to analyze complex tasks and develop solutions
  • Teamwork and enjoyment of working in international teams
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
