QA Engineer – VIU team
to join our team in Belgrade

We are currently looking for QA Automation Engineer with strong skills and proven experience, who is ready to dive into the VIU team, for a full-time engagement, to join our team of passionate IT professionals here in our Belgrade office.

VIU is an up-and-coming and innovative Swiss eyewear label that is revolutionizing the market for designer eyewear by offering high quality and sustainable products at fair prices.

Our glasses are designed in Zurich by the VIU design team and handcrafted in Italy and Japan. With more than 50 flagship stores, over 40 partner stores, a strong online store and a growing customer base in Switzerland, Germany, Austria & UK, we are now looking for you so that you can move mountains with us and help us grow even more.

Challenging things you’ll work on:

• Test, report and track bugs
• Writing different kinds of repeatable automated tests for mobile and desktop environments (E2E, API, functional)
• Working in close collaboration with our UX/UI Designer, the Product Owner, and the rest of the engineering team to find the sweet spot between perfection and time-to-market
• Follow the trends and keep our testing standards up to date
• Create and define automation platform for our applications
• Work closely with developers to achieve a better overview of the project
• Be part of optimizing and defining user stories
• Work in sprints with the agile mindset
• Working remotely with teams in Zurich, Munich, Belgrade and Bergamo

Your contribution to the team includes:

• Experience in writing functional, e2e and API tests
• A knack for a good UX
• Organized and easy to understand way of writing bug tickets
• Have a good balance between the need for quality and delivering on time
• Good communication capabilities
• Willingness to learn
• Critical thinking, readiness to challenge the status quo
• Experience in working with ci/cd, code repository tools such as gitGood spoken and written English skills
