Holycode/Localsearch is searching for Senior Backend Engineer. Localsearch is the leading marketing and advertising partner for Swiss SMEs and, with local.ch and search.ch, it operates the most popular Swiss directory platforms. Localsearch supports Swiss businesses in gaining customers and in ensuring success in the digital world – thanks to professional website creation, online advertising materials and campaigns, online appointment booking and customer management systems, as well as a comprehensive online presence on all of the key platforms in Switzerland.

We are
Software Engineers, Developers, Coders and offer

• a highly skilled software engineering team
• responsibility to provide and enhance services and APIs which are used by many teams and applications or external consumers
• Improving, maintaining and extending our search application (built with solr) a core component of our architecture
• a close collaboration with other software engineering teams to support them building new features and applications

You are
a tech enthusiast, software craftsman, debugger, refactoring lover and you impress us with

• agile methodologies like SCRUM, Kanban
• professional experience with Java and the Spring framework
• understanding RESTful API design
• profound knowledge of solr and/or elasticsearch
• comfortable in a Unix environment and on the command-prompt
• fluent in English, German is a plus
